Life as I know it...

Life as I know it is crazy. It's busy. It's fun (most of the time). It's my little life.

I've been known to complain that I have little to no free time, but in all honesty, even though that's the truth, I wouldn't have it any other way. I work at least 40 hours a week, willingly play on at least 4 soccer teams every week, spend lots of time with my little monster that I just love to pieces & still make time for friends.

I'm a "people pleaser" & have a hard time saying no when it comes to adding another thing to my busy schedule...but lately, it's become a necessity to say "no" more often than not.

People wonder why I do things alone. My response? I love having "me time". I have 3 younger siblings & shared a room with at least one of them through my junior year of high school. Time to myself just never happened. I love my family, without a doubt, but being able to have that free time just for me is something I won't take foregranted because it'll probably be the only time in my life that I'll have these chances. But seriously, if you can't enjoy doing things by yourself, what makes you think that you're ready to be doing some of those same things with a significant other? Don't get me wrong, I would love to have a significant other, but right now, God has other plans. Someday, I hope to have a husband & family of my own & "me time" will be very limited, as it should be :)

For now, I'll keep enjoying my time to myself.
