For the past 2 weeks, Alex & I have only been able to spend a few hours total together...it was the first time we've had to be apart for more than a day or two at a time in nearly 5 months & believe me: it sucked.
Alex's family celebrates Christmas a little later than most families, so he spent 5 days back home in NM with them - he left on the 16th. We still talked/texted/messaged as usual while he was gone, but it's just not the same knowing you can't see each other at the end of the day. So, in true girl fashion, I was counting down the days for him to be back, haha!
Well...my poor guy came home sick so 5 days turned into almost 2 weeks now, but thankfully, he's finally feeling better & we're headed to a beautiful wedding here in Dallas at The Maple Manor Hotel.
I have absolutely missed my man & so glad I don't have to avoid him to keep from getting sick myself, haha! There will be plenty of pictures taken so eventually we'll have pictures of the two of us together again, color coordinated & all :)
