2011 through 2012 so far has been a year of a lot of changes for me. My baby brother graduated from high school. I packed up my life & moved to Addison, Texas, where I had a few friends from college & previous moves, but I had never lived in the DFW area before. My parents moved to San Antonio, Texas - that was a shocker to lots of people considering my dad is Mr. Everything Colorado (haha), but he finally got his ranch!
Mostly, the difference between 2011 & 2012? I've come to realize that some of the people I'd always consider to be my friends & those that I'd do anything for really aren't the people I thought they were. I understand, we're human, things come up & people let you down...but in the end, those who are your true friends are still there for you (likewise, I'd still be there for them too). Sadly, some of my friendships are no more & at the same time, some of my friendships are stronger than they've ever been. I've met new people, reconnected with old friends & still wouldn't change a thing.
So here's to many, many more years of new experiences, frienships & life along the way!
