Today...I'm thankful for Alex...again :) I know I already used him for my "happiness" post, but over the last few days, there has been even more of him to be thankful for!
I've been sick with a sinus infection that just will not go away. No, I haven't gone to the doctor & no, it's not because I'm being stubborn. When I get sinus infections, from the many past experiences I've had with them, nothing works for me but just waiting it out. I've taken all of the preventative measures to try to get my allergies under control - daily medication, allergy shots (4 allergy shots/week for 2 years), nasal sprays...you name it, I've tried it. NOTHING works. Oh & I'm allergic to penicillin so taking most of the antibiotics causes more problems for me anyway. So...I just suffer.
Anyway, back to my story! Since I've been sick, I hadn't been able to pack up my apartment that I was scheduled to move out of yesterday (or at least the movers were scheduled to come get all of the big items by then). Alex volunteered to come help me. All on his own. What guy in general wants to come help his girl pack up her huge collection of shoes & clothes & seemingly unending amount of "crap", let alone voluntarily offer?! Needless to say, I've found a keeper. He is my HAPPY.
