Now that Thanksgiving is over, I may already have been bitten by the Christmas bug, haha! Just a little napkin doodle of a jingle bell ornament...
I'm thankful that I inherited a little bit of my mom's "artsy" abilities! Not many people know this but I got in to both art school & culinary school right out of high school, but being that my parents were chipping in for my education, Dad insisted that I get a degree first, then if I still want to do art/culinary school, I do that a little later down the road.
While I'm definitely very glad that I did go ahead & get my Bachelor's in Management, there's still a small tinge that wonders what if I'd gone the other route instead? But then reality sets in & I think of all of the opportunities that just having a business degree has brought me. I definitely wouldn't be working in the Oil & Gas Energy & probably wouldn't be back in Texas...two things that I truly enjoy.
So for now, I'll continue to work on my informal paintings, doodlings & drawings & cooking whatever Gluten Free concoction I come up with without the formal training because that's what makes it fun & not stressful :)
