I'm grateful to be able to call these two people my parents :) They've overcome so much & while many couples would've taken the easy way out & walked away when things got tough, they fought to keep their marriage alive. Today, they're stronger than ever & I'm so grateful to have an example of what it's like to have a marriage worth fighting for. They got together September 5, 1975 when my mom was 14 & my dad was 17. They were married nearly 9 years later on June 16, 1984...28 years & 4 kids later, they're still going strong ♥
